Kota Kinabalu City Tour

• Duration: (9am-12pm or 2pm-5pm)
• Places of interests: Tour covers Signal Hill for a bird's eye view of the city and the 5 offshore islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Atkinson Clock Tower, Likas Wetland, Sabah Foundation building, Kampong Likas, Sabah Museum (Closed on Friday), Tanjung Aru beach, hawker stalls and Sembulan water village.

White Water Rafting

Kiulu River Rafting (7.30am-3.30pm)

Transfer to Tamparuli past scenic countryside up the Kiulu River. After preparation and brief safety instruction, raft down Kiulu River past rubber tree, fruit farms, padi-fields and isolated Dunsun villages in mild river water of grade 1-2, ideal for family groups. Raft may need to portage occasionally. (L)

Bring along swim-suits, shoes with rubber soles, extra dry clothes and no valuables. Life jackets and helmets are provided. All participants are required to sign liability release form and certificate is issued at the end of the tour.

Padas Rafting (7.30am-5.00pm)

Leave Kota Kinabalu for 1.5 hours journey to Beaufort and another 1.5 hours by train to Pangi. After suiting up and safety instructions by the guide, embark on a 2 hours exhilarating adventure shooting through rapids (Headhunter, Padas Cyclone, Cobra Rock, Roller Coaster, Jacuzzi Pool). In a moments of respite, body raft down the river and soak in the tranquility of the virgin rainforest followed by a sumptuous lunch before we return. (L)

Sukau & Sepilok (2 days)

Day 1- On arrival at Sandakan airport at 7.40am, transfer to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Trek 10 min through the rain forest on wooden plankwalks to witness the feeding of the orang utans at 10.00am. Continue 110 km to Sukau rainforest lodge for lunch. Late afternoon take a two hours river cruise using electric motor in search of wild Proboscis monkeys as they settle down on treetops along the Kinabatangan River. Return for solar heated hot shower, candle light dinner and slide show conducted by naturalist guide. Over night (LD).

Day 2- After breakfast transfer to Sukau by boat and overland to Gomantong cave. Trek 20 min through the rainforest to the cave entrance. Your guide will brief you on the cave faunas including bats, swiftlets and crabs among others and their contribution to maintaining a balanced ecology and significance to the local economy. When in season, witness the collecting of birds' nests by the local people using bamboo ladders and poles.

Continue to Sandakan for lunch and a short tour of Sandakan town including a visit to the water village with tea break and the Australian War Memorial before we transfer to airport for flight MH2065 at 5.20pm to Kota Kinbalu. (BL).
