About MyTOURS


The MyTOURS project concerns the establishment of an environment for travel and tourism industry players to use multimedia technology to conduct trading activities of tourism products, within and outside Malaysia.

The aim of MyTOURS is to provide a secure, standardized, efficient sourcing and e-procurement process to provide opportunities for local travel & tourism industry players to tap into other similar global travel and tourism exchanges facilitate communication and enhance visibility of travel & tourism industry players internationally. 

MyTOURS enables industry players to automate their procurement processes involving suppliers, wholesalers and agents of tourism products by participating in the online platform. These players will eventually experience increased cost savings, higher business efficiency and tap into the huge potential available in the international market, when the system is opened to foreign tourism buyers and suppliers.

The objectives of MyTOURS are:

  1. To provide a secure, standardized, seamless, efficient sourcing and e-procurement  platform for the local travel and tourism industry;
  2. To create a centralized online tourism product repository for global players to reach the  Malaysian travel and tourism industry;
  3. Improve quality and timeliness of information between trading partners;
  4. Enhance productivity via new and high value-added technologies;
  5. Expedite adoption rate of ICT/online solutions by non-ICT SMEs;
  6. Establish inter-connectivity to other online portals or marketplaces;
  7. Experience the benefits of having online presence.

Having support from MDeC, Creative Advances Technology Sdn. Bhd. has successfully developed MyTOURS and integration with SOTA (Standard Online Tourism Architecture) will eventually harness Malaysia tourism business into the next level.
