KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 13 (Bernama) -- Creative Advances Technology (CAT) expects to sign up 300 participating travel agents, airlines, hotels and travel suppliers on its tourism e-business platform called "MyTOURS".
MyTOURS (Malaysian Tourism Online Unified Reservation System) is a tourism e-business platform that will unite government agencies, various sectors of the travel industry, and consumers, it said in a statement Wednesday.
The newly launched platform will include components such as Hotels2Go and Flights2Go, and other travel-related items integral to the entire supply chain of the tourism industry, the company said.
CAT chief executive officer Rohizam Md Yusoff said the idea of MyTOURS came up at a time the supply chain at the industry level was fragmented as well as the demand for online travel from consumers was huge and growing.
"Ultimately, we want MyTOURS to be seen as a concentrated effort to promote the tourism industry in order to create maximum visibility for Malaysia in the globe," he said. |
